Vintage Botanical Hop Vine 8x10" Print
This is a high-quality reproduction 8x10" print of hop vines and flowers, originally from an educational plate from “Kohler’s Medicinal Plants”, a German medicinal guide published by Franz Köhler in the 1880s with illustrations by Walther Otto Müller and Carl Friedrich Schmidt. Printed on sustainably produced 100% cotton fiber archival paper. Each print is packaged in a sealed clear sleeve with matte backing and includes an info card with the history of the art. It is unframed. We love it in a trio with their botanical coffee print and the botanical cannabis print.
We've stocked this brand since our inception because the botanical representations are such a natural fit, and because it is a US-based, woman-owned company. Kate Faulk. was always fascinated by the birds, insects, and strange little things she found growing up on a farm in the south. Now, as a vintage book lover, she scouts antique stores, estate sales, and markets to find the most unique scientific illustrations from the 1600s to the 1920s.
